A golden blanket of sand
An ocean carpet of blue
One embraces the other
As two lovers would do
The shrill cry of the gull
Carries through the sea air
The same cry I made
When I lost my wife there
Every shore has a tale
and for me this is true
A storm claimed my ship
and it claimed my wife too
I`m an old man now
and the walk takes much longer
Beach walking was easier
When my legs were much younger
I wade into the sea
Joyfull to the core
Reunited we shall be
In the depths of Dae shore.
