Founder: Caine
-With a short time as Elder, our beloved founder Caine did his best to build a strong family, only the ancient Barbarians recall much from these days, what truth is left is hard to know, but the legends continue to grow.
2nd Elder: EnderWiggin
-Perhaps one of the most famous Elders of all, EnderWiggin proudly led the Barbarian path for many Yuris.  EnderWiggin also served as a judge, one of the very few Barbarians to do so, and even fewer of Elders.  Many peasents were known to soak their clothes at the sound of his name, and his temper was known AND felt throughout the kingdom.
3rd Elder: MPython
-The first Guide in the kingdom, and to the Barbarians, MPython fit the description of any great Elder.  Rumors still exist today of some turmoil behind the scenes between EnderWiggin and MPython, but as with the truth of Caine's eldership, many of the facts have died with the passing of MPython and EnderWiggin.  MPython will forever be remembered for his fighting spirit and exceptional tallent in the art of killing.
4th Elder: Wimp
-Guide to many remaining Barbarians, Wimp lead the path as Elder along with some controversy.  During her time as Elder, the original Barbarian Torch ((engraved Flameblade)) was created, her idea.  It symbolized the mighty wrath of the Barbarians, and was intended to be passed on from Elder to Elder.  Wimp will forever be remembered as a nurturing soul, always available to help, and strict when the time called for it.  Wimp was also the first Elder to instruct the Barbarian horde to forsake the clans and leave the kingdoms once and for all and to take up residency in the Wilderness.
5th Elder: LordJalin
-During LordJalin's Eldership, sub-paths were finally granted their sub-path areas, and the Barbarian cave was born.  With a lava-ice combination, LordJalin stunned us all after his unexpected disappearance, leaving more to be desired of the Barbarian cave.  Again controversy struck as Wimp and LordJalin began to quarrel, and as usual, the exact details have disappeared with LordJalin and Wimp, though many may remember it to bring much turmoil to the path... but as a family all was corrected.
6th Elder: Nomad
-With the disappearance of LordJalin, and the previous quarreling of Elders, help was saught from the gods.  Shajara stepped in due to the pleas from the Barbarians and helped with the first democratic voting process for Elder.  Nomad, almost as if he were a gift from the gods, won the election and took his place as Elder, the first Elder to be elected, and promoted directly from Walker.  Nomad lead the path thru the dark days of the "quota" and helped the path bloom into the large family it is today.  Due to our success in fullfilling the gods' demands, we were also granted many benefits and surprises thanks to Nomads hard work (including but not limited to the "Townie" ability).  Also, thanks to oonickoo, a new Flameblade was found and the Torch of the Barbarians once again became the symbol of Barbarian Elders.
7th Elder: LocoSam
-LocoSam, one of the more ecentric Elders to date, did his best to help the family after losing such a great Elder as Nomad.  A second dose of good will and gifts came from the gods, and together with the Guides at the time, new changes took place.  Barbarian brew, an idea first conceived with BountyHunter and LocoSam during Wimp's eldership, became a reality, a welcomed surprise to many.  The Barbarian cave got a face-lift thanks to the designing teamwork of Nomad and LocoSam.  And the ability to forge blood oaths entered it's first stages.  LocoSam may have had the shortest Eldership of all, about 2-3 Yuris, though it's hard to determine the length of all the other Elders reign, but he thought it best to step down before the stress and the politics ruined his already diminished mental capacities.

8th Elder: Wensly
-One of Nomads other choices for Elder, LocoSam felt it best to leave the path in Wensly's hands.  Had Wensly not had to travel to neighboring kingdoms for an emergency, he very well could have been Elder anyway.  Today the Barbarians are enjoying the freedoms established by previous Elders, and protected today by Wensly.  The sky is the limit, for Wensly is sure to do even greater things than Elders in the past.
--
It is worth noting that a strange custom has developed within the Barbarian path.  No other path seems to resemble such a reaccuring custom... With the exception of Caine and LordJalin (and maybe EnderWiggin?), every Elder has found it best to seek solice outside of the Circle, and perhaps even indulging in the gifts of the Chung ryong.  MPython, Wimp, and Nomad have all needed a time to recooperate and taste the wonders of the outside world after the harsh reality of Eldership, and while it sometimes shocks the family, it has become a disdainful custom that will probably continue... they mean no ill-will, and often return to the loving home they miss, so please, do not think little of the Elders who need to see what the rest of the world is like, it is only natural, and for all the hard work they do, they certainly deserve it.
