Yuri 53...
Summer...

Midnight...
The night air was thick as I pressed against the wall. Making me feel every breath move through my lungs as I sprinted between the shadows. After what seemed like hours of stalking, I held my position in the shadows to watch a group of three Koguryian guardsmen stop just beyond my reach. As I stood there I did not breathe, I just listened. "Those Barbarians think their everything, just wait untill I catch him alone off of their homeland!" The others laughed along with him. I recognized him. This was the guard who threw me from the castle as I was trying to ask Mhul to a duel. Before he had thrown me back into the Wilderness with the help of his five friends. Then I heard something I couldnt bare. The guard said "I dont see why Mhul just doesn't go into the caves and destroy the Barbarian women and children." None of his friends laughed. For they were listening to a growl come from the shadows. The guard turned around to meet 300 pounds of preasure of my spike upon his face. After his head was no more, his body fell to its knee's, and splashed to the floor in a splatter of more brain matter. The other two reached for thier swords, and one on the left felt my foot stomp upon his throat, rendering his ability to breathe. He choked for a moment, and then fell to the ground unconcience. The other guard darted off towards the palace. I had done enough damage that night. I had taken the one who spoke badly against me and my family, and taken out another nameless townie. As I neard the palace walls, I began to see that it was dotted with guards. I guess the other guard had sounded the K.R.A. Because the men in blue began running back and forth, confused. I squated in a bush and whistled my special whistle. My horse trotted from behind a building and I mounted him swiftly. Just then I heard shouting, and felt arrows pass me by. I made a race for the gate and headed north. As I reached the bridge I swung my spike down twice, falling two more no named Townies. As soon as I arrived at the north gate, I looked back to see a cloud of horses on thier way towards me. Instead of heading back to the Wilderness I dismounted and spanked my horse, sending it into another direction, as I threw on a cape and hunched over. Seconds later a Guard came up to be and said "Ma'm, theres a bloodthirsty barbarian out there, and I was wondering if you saw anyone who looked like a Barbarian?" I nearly laughed under my breath and gave out a raspy no. He headed back to the palace with a few others. Just then, more horses pulled up just outside the bush I was now hiding in. They were speaking about 'Getting to the source' and 'smearing his family.' I put them together and realized they were going to slaughter my family, with no warning. I held myself back, knowing there was two many of them to take on my own, and I just waited. Minutes later the guard who had questioned me before came back from the wilderness proclaiming they were headed to the Barbarian cave! As the last horse strode off I cunningly Pulled off the last guard from his horse and snapped his neck. Mounting the horse, I took a few shortcuts trying to cut off the K.R.A. death march. As I arrived at the cave, I hollar'd a quick warning and everyone took to arms and put on thier armor. Moments later we heard shouts at the cave opening. One of my larger brothers came to the opening, spike and hand and asked the Guard "Now why in the name of Ju Jak would you be here at this hour.." The townie spit on the ground and told him he was looking for the one who murdered his friend. My brother then told him "Well, you little rat. If you want my brother your going to have to go through me. My brother was then blasted back into the cave by a Hell-fire and hit the wall next to me. I helped him up and let out a roar. K.R.A. members began to poor through the opening, and began to sluaghter my family. Left and right I swung, preparing for an ancient technique called whirl-wind. I couldnt tell who was winning or losing. All I knew is that there were too many bodies, and too much blood on the dirt for all my family to be ok. It seemed like an hour when the last of them fell, or the rest of them fled. Our family began picking up one another, healing one another and patching up one another. We began to gather our dead and dying, and lay them in a corner. A small tear rolled down my emotionless face as I picked up one of my wounded little sisters in the corner of our cave. I set her down and wiped the blood off her face and looked into her eye's and told her I was sorry. She looked at me, silently screaming in pain as I held her gently and put preasure on the gash on her stomach. She told me she didn't want to die just as her body went cold and limp. I stood over my fallen sister with tears running down my cold, blank face as I pulled out a small dagger from the dirt. I proceeded to slit my wrists and slwoly bled to death. As my blood began to drain from my body, I thought I had lost it. I became so infuriated at what they had done. I looked at the ground around me and realized that my blood has soaked into the ground around me and has softened it. Just as I felt I couldnt be any more enraged, a single black bead of blood rulled from my wrist and penetrated the ground. I fell over backwards and lost conciencness. I woke up hours later to find a small, dead tree just beside me. I walked outside the cave and threw up what ever was left in my stomach and began to decapitate the heads of the fallen enemies. I placed all 17 in my large bag and had them strung across north gate of Koguryo. As I returned to my cave and looked in the corner, the dead tree was now the size of me, within an hour it had grown over 6 feet. Over the next day the tree grew taller untill it grew now more. When ever one goes near it one begins to feel angry and disgusted, often reveling thier hatred to thier worst enemy. Now it stands alone in the corner, a symbol of Barbarian emotions. Created by hatred, fueled by passion, the Dead Tree stands there to this day. Barbarian Qwertyer
