Royal Families

This question is often asked; why do we make enemies of the Kingdoms? The answer is simple, we do not believe there is a man or woman that is better then any other. Your "Royal Line" is no better then the lowliest of peasants who wade through the sewer ridden streets in search of rat meat and rotten acorns, or any human at all for that matter. Your king, he claims to rule directly under the gods, is your equal in humanity, he is no better then you are and yet you follow him blindly. The common rebuttle to this statement is: "But you have an elder you follow." Yes the Barbarians have an ELECTED elder we follow, but he is no better then anyone of us, and simply a man the Barbarians have put their trust into to make the decisions that represent us as a path. Did you elect your king?
While the Barbarians must acknowledge the brave spirit of King Yuri (yes, we know he is not a coward), he is old and weak. Prince Mhul thinks as if he is from blood different and better then anyone's. Seeing or speaking to him is a rare treat indeed to the common peasants. Princess Lasahn is a fool who cannot grasp the simple fact that Barbarians were in this land before the idea of Kingdoms ever came into play. They are all blind to see what their subjects (who openly disrespect Yuri in sages, I've seen townies threaten his life proudly) do to the Wilderness lands. These tyrrants rape the land of all it's resources: Slaughter all sheep, leaving none for any others, relentlessly cut down all the trees, Mine all of the ore, the massive Kingdom walls drive away all our game, and show no respect to the Wilderness in any way at all. These brandings are in response to King Yuri, Prince Mhul, and Princess Lasahn's open desecration of our homeland without any regard to the people who have not allied with them.
